Vintage Federal Glass Heritage Punch Cup | Nana’s Hearth

Once brought out for afternoon tea, holiday punch, and family celebrations, these vintage Federal Glass cups have found a new purpose as beautiful, single-wick candles, hand-poured with my comforting Nana’s Hearth fragrance.

Made by the Federal Glass Company in Columbus, Ohio, between approximately 1940 and 1955, these charming little cups belong to the Heritage collection. Their intricate pressed-glass design features delicate rows of raised beads, geometric teardrops, and a beautiful feather-like scroll pattern that wraps around each cup. The clear glass catches the light, giving these everyday pieces the appearance of much more expensive cut crystal.

Federal Glass was known for making beautiful, affordable glassware for American households. During a time when families were gathering around kitchen tables and setting out their nicest dishes for company, pieces like these offered a little elegance without needing a special occasion. Originally designed as punch or tea cups with matching saucers, they would have been just as welcome at a bridal shower or Christmas gathering as they were at an ordinary afternoon visit with a neighbor.

I've given these six vintage cups another chapter, filling each one with my signature coconut-soy wax and a thoughtfully placed cotton wick. Nana’s Hearth brings the familiar warmth of Christmas at home to glassware that has already seen decades of gatherings, celebrations, and cups shared among friends.

And when the last bit of wax is gone, these cups are meant to be kept. Clean them, treasure them, and give them another place in your home, whether that's holding a little something on a bedside table or finding their way back into the china cabinet.

Nana’s Hearth

Christmas Eve at Nana’s house. Something warm and spiced is coming from the kitchen, the Christmas tree is lit, and everyone has settled in near the fireplace with a glass of wine.  Nana’s Hearth brings those familiar scents together with bright orange and holiday spice, fresh fir and pine, and a soft, earthy smokiness that feels like a wood fire burning nearby. Cinnamon and clove add warmth while vetiver gives it that deep, fireside finish.  Cozy, nostalgic, and unmistakably Christmas.

Infused with natural essential oils including orange, cinnamon, clove, vetiver, and pine.

Each vintage vessel is individually sourced and carefully selected. Its character and history are part of what make it special.

Made to be given. Meant to be kept.
