Lidded Sugar Dish and Creamer Pitcher | Nana’s Hearth
Vintage Anchor Hocking Early American Prescut Collection Lidded Sugar Dish and Creamer Pitcher | Nana’s Hearth
Once a familiar sight on family tables and tucked inside china cabinets, these vintage Anchor Hocking pieces have found a new purpose as beautiful, hand-poured candles filled with my comforting Nana’s Hearth fragrance.
Introduced in the 1960s, Anchor Hocking’s Early American Prescut collection brought the beauty of cut crystal into everyday American homes. Its distinctive six-pointed starbursts, geometric diamonds, and radiating patterns were designed to catch the light, giving pressed glass the sparkle and appearance of much more expensive hand-cut crystal.
The collection became a household favorite throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with pieces made for everything from everyday meals to holiday gatherings. Sugar bowls, creamers, serving dishes, and countless other pieces found their way onto dining room tables, into kitchen cupboards, and onto the shelves of china cabinets.
I've given these six vintage pieces another chapter, filling each one with my signature coconut-soy wax and thoughtfully placed cotton wicks. The lidded sugar bowl and scalloped creamer each feature a single wick, while the four starburst bowls hold three wicks apiece. Nana’s Hearth brings the familiar warmth of Christmas at home to glassware that has already been part of so many family gatherings.
And when the last bit of wax is gone, these pieces are meant to be kept. Clean them, treasure them, and return them to the table, where they can be enjoyed for years to come.

Nana’s Hearth
Christmas Eve at Nana’s house. Something warm and spiced is coming from the kitchen, the Christmas tree is lit, and everyone has settled in near the fireplace with a glass of wine. Nana’s Hearth brings those familiar scents together with bright orange and holiday spice, fresh fir and pine, and a soft, earthy smokiness that feels like a wood fire burning nearby. Cinnamon and clove add warmth while vetiver gives it that deep, fireside finish. Cozy, nostalgic, and unmistakably Christmas.
Infused with natural essential oils including orange, cinnamon, clove, vetiver, and pine.
Each vintage vessel is individually sourced and carefully selected. Its character and history are part of what make it special.
Made to be given. Meant to be kept.
