Rosemary
Fresh rosemary grounded with earthy sage and warm cedarwood. Green and woodsy, with the familiar scent of herbs clipped from the garden and brought inside.
Rooted Remedy began in my backyard garden and grew into small batches poured by hand at home. I wanted to make candles that felt a little like the things we used to bring when we went to someone's house, something thoughtful, useful, and made by hand instead of pulled from a shelf.
Each candle is rooted in the herbs I grow and made with the same care as something I'd give to someone I love. That's the feeling behind all of this: made to be given.
If you'd like to be here when the first candles are ready, leave your email below. It means a lot to have you here this early.
Fresh rosemary grounded with earthy sage and warm cedarwood. Green and woodsy, with the familiar scent of herbs clipped from the garden and brought inside.
Fresh basil brightened with juicy mandarin and just-cut citrus. Like standing at your nana's kitchen counter while she chops herbs and slices fruit from the garden.
Earthy sage and soft lavender warmed with a touch of honey. Herbal and comforting, like the lingering scent of a summer garden carried inside through an open window.
Soft rose wrapped in lavender, garden herbs and a touch of warm honey. Like an English garden in bloom, floral and gently sweet with an old-fashioned softness.
Bright lemongrass wrapped in the clean, familiar scent of freshly laundered linen. Like looking through your nana's kitchen window at sheets drying on the clothesline in the sun.
The garden was here before Rooted Remedy. Rosemary, sage, basil and whatever else I could convince to grow in the Florida sun. Spending time tending it, clipping herbs and bringing handfuls inside is what eventually gave me the idea for these candles.
The scents may reach beyond what grows in my backyard, but every one begins with an herb and the feeling of something grown close to home.
The herbs came first. The candles followed.
